Transistor Radio is a neutral audio player. We don't host or control any stream. You license the app for personal use. Streams are provided by independent broadcasters. All purchases are handled by Apple.

License

The app is licensed, not sold. Your one-time in-app purchase grants you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use Transistor Radio on Apple devices associated with your Apple ID, subject to Apple's standard App Store End User License Agreement.

Content & Streams

Transistor Radio is a neutral audio player utility. It does not host, rebroadcast, re-encode, or modify any audio stream. All streams are provided by independent third-party broadcasters and are indexed via Radio-Browser — an open public directory — or added by you directly via the custom URL feature.

We do not control and are not responsible for the content, availability, legality, or accuracy of any third-party stream. Streams may change, move, or go offline without notice. Station availability is not guaranteed.

If you believe a station infringes your rights, contact us at the address in Section 08 and we will remove or block it promptly.

Restrictions

You agree not to:

  • Record, download, or store any streamed audio
  • Strip, block, or circumvent advertising inserted by the broadcaster
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code, except as permitted by applicable law
  • Use the app to violate any law or the rights of any third party

Purchases & Refunds

The app offers a one-time in-app purchase that unlocks premium features. All purchases are processed by Apple. Refunds are handled exclusively by Apple under their standard refund policy; we cannot issue refunds directly.

Free Trial

New installs receive a one-time 14-day trial of premium features, managed locally on your device. No subscription is created and no payment is collected during the trial. When the trial ends, premium features become unavailable but the free tier remains fully functional. The trial is not renewable and cannot be reset by reinstalling.

Disclaimer

The app is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We make no guarantee that any stream will play, that the app will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that any particular station will remain available.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the app.
